Do I have to go through INS in LA if I am transfering from a Europe flight to a domestic one bound for SF?

I don’t have a US passport just a visa. I know I have to go through INS and customs in SF but do I have to do the same thing in LA where I change flights?

You do it where you enter the country… where you are technically "crossing the boarder". Once in, you don´t have to go throuhg immigration anymore, unless for some reason, there may be a particular arrangement.

  1. YES. Because if a person were a terrorist…they could just disappear at that airport.
