What’s the deal with the flights in Europe?

I have a friend who’s in England right now and her flight is supposed to come back on Sunday.
I heard that flights are really backed up, though, because of the volcano.
Do you think her flight will be affected, even though she’s in england?

It’s possible, england was affected by the delays, the last that I heard.

I have a family member in Paris that is due back Sunday too, so I’m hoping to get in touch to find out if she will be returning on time
