What’s the cheapest way to travel around Europe?
I’m going to be going from Italy – Switzerland – France – Spain – Morocco, what’s the cheapest way to travel between them? I’ve been around Eastern Europe by bus, but I can’t find much bus information.
Interrail seems really overpriced and it would probably be cheaper to fly, but I was wondering if anyone else had any tips, or websites that might help?
for buses there are sometimes deals on www.eurolines.com, some flights can be cheap have a look at www.skyscanner.net

The cheapest way is to hitchhike. But if you don’t want to do that, bus service in Europe is generally really great, and doesn’t cost much. To get to Morocco, boat would be your cheapest option.

Train is usually the most efficient option as it’s city centre to city centre. Have a look at point-to-point fares for the cities you’ll be visiting as it’s often cheaper to buy this way than using a rail pass, especially if you can get the tickets in advance. From Spain take a ferry to Morocco.
While flying often looks cheaper, remember you’ll need to get to and from airports, and it’s quite time-consuming as you’ll need to be at the airport an hour or two before the flight departs, and then spend time picking up your luggage the other end and making your way into town. And cut price airlines are not always reliable, and you could find yourself facing delays and cancelled flights.
